Dear Colleagues,
It is with great joy and a deep sense of responsibility that, on behalf of the ISOO RIO 2026 Local Committee we welcome you to ISOO Rio 2026.
Bringing the global ocular oncology community together in Rio de Janeiro marks an exciting new chapter for our field in Latin America. Following the successful edition held in Buenos Aires in 2011, ISOO returns to the region—this time to Brazil—for new opportunities to spark collaborations, explore cutting-edge science, and experience the warmth, diversity, and vibrant energy of Rio
We believe Rio is the perfect stage for meaningful dialogue and forward-thinking innovation in our field. With a carefully designed program, outstanding faculty, and immersive experiences, ISOO 2026 will be a congress to remember.
We look forward to seeing you in Rio—where science meets soul.
Warm regards,

Dr. Priscilla Ballalai

Dear ISOO Community,
It is with great enthusiasm that, on behalf of the ISOO Executive Leadership Board, I invite you to join us for ISOO Rio 2026, a historic gathering and a meaningful milestone for our society.
While ISOO has met in South America once before—in Buenos Aires, in 2011—this will be our first time in Brazil. We are thrilled to return to the region and build upon that legacy with renewed energy and purpose.
Our field is evolving rapidly, and there is no better time—or place—than now, in Rio, to come together and shape the future of ocular oncology.
The energy of Brazil, combined with the strength of our global community, will make this a uniquely inspiring and impactful event.
Let’s make history—together.
Warmest regards,

Dr. Jesse Berry
ISOO President, on behalf to the ISOO Executive Leadership Board
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I am honored to invite you to actively participate in the Scientific Program at ISOO Rio 2026. The Program Committee is working hard to capture the excitement of the scientific advances we are collectively making as a field.
Our 4 day meeting will begin with a pre-Congress education day followed by 3 days of scientific presentations, fascinating cases, and keynote lectures that will capture the past and future of our field. We are eager to learn from allied health professionals who also care for our patients to spark new avenues of discussion.
We encourage you to ask your colleagues, trainees, and students to not only plan to attend but to be active participants in the program! We want to hear and see your most interesting and innovative work—for all of us to learn. Our goal is to have a friendly and open forum for scientific exchange and future collaboration—and to have some fun as well!
Best wishes and see you in Rio!

Dr. Prithvi Mruthyunjaya
